@ 316 The promise of satan 4:117-121
4:117 Instead of Him they supplicate to none but females, and indeed they supplicate to none except the rebellious satan,
# إِن يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلاَّ إِنَاثاً وَإِن يَدْعُونَ إِلاَّ شَيْطَاناً مَّرِيداً 117
4:118 whom Allah has cursed and he (satan) said, 'Indeed, I will take to myself an appointed portion of Your worshipers,
# لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ وَقَالَ لأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيباً مَّفْرُوضاً 118
4:119 and lead them astray. I shall fill them with fancies and order them to cut off the ears of cattle. I shall order them to alter the creation of Allah.' Indeed, whosoever chooses satan for a guide, instead of Allah, has surely suffered a clear loss.
# وَلأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلأُمَنِيَنَّهُمْ وَلآمُرَنُّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الأَنْعَامِ وَلآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِياًّ مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَاناً مُّبِيناً 119
4:120 he promises them and fills them with fancies, but what satan promises them is only a delusion.
# يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلاَّ غُرُوراً 120
4:121 Those, their shelter will be Gehenna (Hell), and from it they shall find no refuge.
# أُوْلَئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَلاَ يَجِدُونَ عَنْهَا مَحِيصاً 121
